How Aware and Mindful Youth Can Help Your Student

Aware and Mindful Youth serves preK through 12th grade students, by using a combination of therapeutic techniques and skill building to improve overall well being and academic performance long term.

Strategies such as self-awareness, self-regulation, communication, organization, prioritization, attention, time management, goal setting, self-advocacy, and flexibility can help students boost their confidence and feel more successful.

By meeting students where they are, and through sessions with parents and students, Aware and Mindful Youth highlights strengths, and improves on skills that are challenging, to support a more balanced and efficient way of life.

COVID-19 and Your Student

The impact of COVID-19 has affected everyone. For children and teens, the pandemic caused a major disruption in their education and social-emotional development. As a result, students could feel behind academically and/or socially, leading to anxiety, depression, apathy, and/or low self-esteem. Aware and Mindful Youth seeks to help students regain confidence in their school work and relationships, by helping to assess where they need the most support, and teaching them individualized skills to get back on track. A holistic approach is used to include parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure positive changes remain long term.
